AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF HATTIESBURG, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONVEY CERTAIN PROPERTY TO FORREST COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. In consideration of One Dollar ($1.00), the governing authorities of the City of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, may convey to Forrest County, Mississippi, the title to two (2) parcels of real property owned by the City of Hattiesburg located on Batson Street and being more particularly described in the

warranty deed dated November 15, 1984, recorded in Land Deed Book 548 at Page 264, and in the deed dated November 2, 1973, recorded in Land Deed Book 385 at Page 431, in the Office of the Chancery Clerk of Forrest County, Mississippi.

SECTION 2. The City of Hattiesburg shall retain all mineral rights in the property conveyed pursuant to this act.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
